BusinessInsider reports that the MLB At Bat iPhone app has sold over 130,000 copies thus far.  At $10 a pop, that’s $1.3 Million in gross revenue, with $390,000 going to Apple and $910,000 to MLB.  $10 for an app is definitely on the high-end, but the popularity of MLB At Bat clearly shows that people are more than willing to pay for quality.

Currently, MLB At Bat is the #1 most downloaded paid app in the Sports category on iTunes.  Meanwhile, the lite version of the app is currently the #2 most downloaded free app on iTunes.

As Larry David might say.. that’s pretty pretty… pretty good.
