BMW will soon be taking advantage of the iPod-out functionality in iOS 4 to let drivers use BMW hardware to interact with iPod and iPhone software and navigate through playlists and such using a built-in dashboard display. The new feature is in the final stages of development and will be available in BMW vehicles at the beginning of 2011.
