News, Rumors

As developers continue to dissect the recently seeded iOS 4.3 beta, new details about the next major iOS upgrade continue to emerge. Yesterday, MacRumors discovered new data strings in the iOS 4.3 beta that reference a “Find My Friends” feature. The data strings are related to MobileMe settings, implying that the feature may be tied to folks who sign up for MobileMe’s $99/year service.

“Find My Friends” will most likely be used to allow users to locate their “friends” via GPS, a handy feature when you’re trying to find where a group of friends are at a large concert venue or even in an unfamiliar part of town.
