In a welcome addition, Apple recently began adding reviews from Rotten Tomatoes to the landing page of movies on iTunes. TUAW notes that it “uses reviews from top critics and film societies to produce Tomatometer ratings — a percentage-based rating of a movie derived from the averages of all the reviews of the film.”

Rotten Tomatoes is one of the most popular movie review sites on the web, and with the ability to now peruse user and critic reviews from within iTunes, users on the fence will now be more inclined to go ahead and click “Buy Movie” than they were before. Below is what the Rotten Tomatoes review of Almost Famous looks like.
