The Dutch language Nu.nl publication writes that Samsung filed a recent suit in the Netherlands seeking a ban on all of Apple’s 3G products, specifically targeting the iPhone and the iPad. What’s more, Samsung’s suit targets five private companies involved in the selling and distribution of the aforementioned products.

Samsung’s suit in the Netherlands is the latest example of Samsung filing a lawsuit against Apple in a jurisdiction where Apple has already initiated a legal action. Remember that in late August, Apple won a victory at the Dutch Rechtbank Gravenhage Court when the court issued a ruling barring Samsung from importing its Galaxy branded smartphones and tablets. The victory was a strategic one for Apple as Samsung uses the Netherlands as a hub for its distribution throughout Europe.
