Check out this video of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer autographing a MacBook Pro at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenessee. Say what you will about Ballmer (he’s crazy, a bad CEO), but he seems to have a good sense of humor about things. Ballmer comically signed the MacBook Pro with a note stating, “Need a new one?” The student, for what its worth, promised Ballmer that the MacBook had a copy of Windows on it.

You don’t think for a moment that the reported talks about Bing on the iPhone would have softened up Monkey Boy just a tad?

So he signed a computer that can run Windows, and apparently this one actually does run Windows (as well as OS X) … not too crazy really. M$ does not make laptops, so why shouldn’t he sign it? The IT world is full of companies that are both partners and competitors, because their product ranges are often complex and overlapping.
