Digitimes is reporting that printed circuit board (PCB) suppliers in Taiwan are lowering their third-quarter estimates for Apple products like the iPhone 4 by 10% – a fact no doubt attributed to the lack of a new iPhone model this Summer.

The Taiwan-based PCB companies, which are shipping products for iPads and iPhones, have seen disappointing orders for these devices in the second quarter, the sources said. Orders thus far for June show no signs of a rebound, the sources indicated.

The report goes on to state, however, that with the next-gen iPhone on track for a Fall release – rumored to be in late September – PCB makers anticipate shipments will eventually rebound and “rise sequentially through September.”
