Google’s Andy Rubin recently tweeted a response to Steve Jobs’ claim that Android really isn’t as open as people think.

the definition of open: “mkdir android ; cd android ; repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git ; repo sync ; make”

Nerdity in full effect, but as John Gruber points out, this tweet probably resonates with about .01% of the population at best.
