A number of folks who ordered the iPod Touch 4G began receiving notifications earlier today indicating that their devices have already started shipping with an expected delivery date, at the latest, of September 14th.
Apple announced at last weeks media event that the trio of new iPod models (the Nano, the new Touch, and the new Shuffle) would begin shipping sometime this week, but didn’t give a firm ship date. Meanwhile, one reader writes that an Apple Store in Cleveland still hadn’t set up the new iPod models on the display floor yet.
Also, 9to5Mac notes that folks who ordered the iPod Nano are receiving notifications that their devices will ship in 1 week, with an expected delivery date between September 10 – September 14.
