MacWorld and Engadget have the first in-depth reviews of the new MacBook’s and MacBook Pro’s.   Overall the reviews seems to be mostly positive, and the general consensus seems to be that the new aluminum design is light and feels noticeably sturdier.  I was curious about the usability of the button-less trackpad, but both reviews said that it worked great.  The only real negative mentioned in the reviews is that both laptops come with a glossy glass-covered display, with no option for a matte finish.

Check out the more extensive MacWorld review here, and the Engadget review over here.
