We’re not really buying this, but these images supposedly show the casing for Apple’s next-gen iPhone. As you can tell, the design appears to borrow aesthetic qualities from the iPad which makes these images somewhat questionable. A full-on aluminum casing might cause problems for 3G and wi-fi connectivity, a problem some iPad users are already experiencing.
The next-gen iPhone is rumored to come with a front facing camera, a high density display, and Apple’s impressively fast A4 system on a chip. Rumors regarding a release date for the device point to June 22.
