Edible Apple

Video from CNBC of Dan Lyons and Jim Goldman sparring over whether or not Apple was concealing anything in the weeks preceding Steve Jobs announcing that he would be taking a leave of absence from Apple.  Check it out below and see what you think, but I first want to say this:

Steve Jobs has admitted he has a medical condition that he needs to tend to, and he’s taking the necessary steps to do just that.  It boggles my mind that Lyons is still crusading against Apple for supposedly leading the public on and hiding the truth about Steve Jobs.  Truth be told, what Apple knows about Steve’s condition is a function of what he chooses to disclose, and that is something we have no way of finding out.  If Apple willfully chose to hide pertinent information regarding the health of Steve Jobs, a lot of people would be risking jail-time, and it makes absolutely no sense to assume that that’s the case.  I suppose this line of thinking isn’t too surprising, though, coming from a man who has been more successful imitating someone else than he’s been by being himself.  Ouch.
