In a shocking revelation, Melinda Gates recently revealed in an interview with Vogue magazine that the Gates children aren’t allowed to use iPods or iPhones.
There are very few things that are on the banned list in our household. But iPods and iPhones are two things we don’t get for our kids.
I can just see it now..
Bill Gates: Bill Gates Jr., are you using an iPod Touch in there?!!
Son: NO.. Jeez Dad, I’m just smoking.. now leave me alone.
Bill Gates: Phew.. close call
Interestingly, though, Melinda Gates does admit to partaking in a little big of iPhone envy.
Every now and then I look at my friends and say ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone’.
But then she realizes that the iPhone doesn’t have a hexagonal grid like Windows Mobile 6.5 and she realizes the error of her ways.
