On Sunday night, 13 out of the top 15 most popular MP3 players on Amazon were all iPods. Click on the picture below for a larger picture.
And the list does not include the iPhone.
Pretty much the same way it looked around Christmas-time. Nothing much has changed. This domination has been discredited by saying most other MP3 players can easily be bought locally and don’t require purchasing on Amazon. Where I am in the NYC metro area, iPods seem to be the standard music device for most people. I guess it’s due to the abundance of Apple stores and whatnot or NYC is just full of trendy people with plenty of money. I still have my 30GB 5G video iPod, but I’m waiting for a third-generation 64GB iPod Touch with hopefully enhanced graphics processors for games.
