Earlier today Apple released a new User Guide to accompany its new iPhone OS 3.0 update.  You can check that out over here.

The conventional wisdom at the moment seems to be that the iPhone is only a consumer device, but the conventional wisdom is wrong. Think about all the hospital/medical demos from recent iPhone events, for one thing.

A good observation from Gruber.  I don’t think there’s been one demo of iPhone software at an Apple event that didn’t include some sort of medical app.  Typically, the liveblogs that cover Apple events start yawning when a medical app for the iPhone takes center stage, but the medical apps typically seem pretty cool and useful – and are most likely a sign of things to come.
