Apple yesterday seeded an updated SDK and iPhone OS to developers.  Some of the reported changes include:

  • The ability to save a trimmed video clip as a standalone copy, rather than being forced to over-write the original
  • Voice Control now works with Bluetooth headsets
  • Some developers report that the updated OS seems even snappier
  • New API’s give developers access to the video camera, with the ability to edit footage as well
  • Phone starts up and shuts down quicker
  • Faster app launching
  • MMS is reportedly enabled by default, yet still not supported by AT&T
