Reports coming from the Chinese-language and Taiwanese news site InfoTimes suggests that Apple is posed to release an $800 Apple tablet this October, corroborating similar reports that surfaced late this May.
According to the article, the upcoming tablet will feature a 9.7 inch touchscreen, which is somewhat smaller than the screen sizes of current netbooks.
