Edible Apple

The online Apple Store was down for a while earlier this morning, and when it came back online, lo and behold, an option to pre-order Snow Leopard appeared.  Confirming previous rumors, Snow Leopard will ship by August 28th, and is available for the surprisingly low price of $29.

Many of Snow Leopard’s features center on “under the hood” improvements which will work to make systems run snappier and more efficiently.  An overview of Snow Leopard’s features can be found over here.

System Requirements for Snow Leopard are as follows:

• Mac computer with an Intel processor
• 1GB of memory
• 5GB of available disk space
• DVD drive for installation
