Rumor has it that Apple will drop iPhone OS 3.1 sometime in September, with an “AT&T Ninja” reportedly saying that the update will finally include support for MMS. Hopefully the rumored update will be announced in conjunction with the expected iPod refresh next week – mainly so that people who pick up the new iPod Touch won’t have to fork over $10 to get a measly .1 upgrade just a few weeks later.
