It’s official folks. Apple today sent out invitations to a number of sites for a special media event on January 27th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10 AM Pacific Time. The invite reads, “Come see our latest creation”, which is a pretty strong tease. Also, the splattered paint seems to suggest that whatever creation Apple will be peddling next will have a focus on content creation. And by the way, who knew that Apple still uses Kid Pix!

Sweet! I do see room in my electronics for a tablet style Mac. With my MacBook, I so often just use it for simple stuff, like email and web where it would be nice to have a tablet instead.
