Has someone solved the riddle behind the invitation to tomorrows Apple event?

In a recent note to investors, Analyst Tim Horan of Oppenheimer & Co. said that Apple will use tomorrows media event to announcethat the iPhone will be coming to all major carriers within the next 18 months. Horan anticipates that T-mobile will get the iPhone this summer while Verizon and Spring will hop on board in the fall.

“We believe AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity arrangement with Apple will be expiring by mid-2010,” Horan stated, “For wireless carriers, customers are demanding the device and they need to remain competitive.”

On that note, MacRumors brings to light a somewhat whimsical interpretation of Apple’s invitation (seen above) wherein the assortment of ink blotches represent the various carriers that will soon carry the iPhone.
