Adobe will launch the latest series of its Creative Suite software on April 12th accompanied by an online launch event that will enable interested consumers to check out some of the new features of CS 5. Many of the new and upcoming features haven’t been fully made public, but Adobe has included a number of sneak peak videos on its launch website.

Some of the info we do know is that Adobe Photoshop will at last be entirely re-written in Cocoa and that Adobe will also enable developers to port their Flash apps over to the flash-less iPhone (in standard .ipa format) via ActionScript 3.

The last time Adobe updated its CS software was in September of 2008 when it released CS 4.
