Well it seems as though Dell is looking to make a huge splash into the smartphone market with two upcoming devices that, we can’t lie, look pretty damn impressive.

The first device is the Dell Thunder, an Android based smartphone with a 4.1-inch OLED touchscreen plastered with a custom Dell UI. The phone comes with Flash 10.1, an 8 megapixel camera, Twitter and Facebook integration, along with mention an “integrated web video Hulu app.” Okay, we’re intrigued. The phone will hit AT&T here in the US sometime during the fourth quarter of this year, with an LTE model in the works for the end of 2011.

The second device is a Windows Phone 7 Series device that looks equally impressive. Called the Dell Lightning, it’s a portrait slider with a 4.1-inch OLED display, and comes equipped with a 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, an accelerometer, GPS, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, 512MB of RAM, 1GB flash along with 8GB of storage on a MicroSD card, Xbox Live integration, an FM radio, and of course, full Flash playback support. The ship date for this bad boy is scheduled for sometime during the fourth quarter of 2010.
