Well this certainly is a weird ass story. Talkshow host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres recently ran a spoof of an Apple iPhone commercial where she encountered a number of problems accomplishing even basic tasks on the device. The video is below, and as you’ll soon see, is undeniably harmless, benign, and all in good fun.

But, apparently not everyone in Cupertino has a sense of humor. Apple representatives reportedly contacted DeGeneres and told her that her parody mistakenly implied that an iPhone was hard to use. The next day, DeGeneres offered a tounge in cheek apology to Apple and Steve Jobs before going on to praise the iPhone and Apple in general.

Seriously Apple? This is what concerns you?!
