You gotta love the Apple rumor mill. One day after Engadget unearthed court documents confirming that AT&T’s contract as the sole carrier for the iPhone was for a 5 year term comes a rumor via CrunchGear that an ad agency called Landor Associates was busy working on an ad campaign for the iPhone HD in preparation for a summer launch on Verizon.
Landor Associates is reportedly more of a branding firm, and if they were hired by Verizon, then you don’t have to worry about TBWA going anywhere anytime soon.
We’ve been down this rumor road before, so take this with a big grain of salt.
