When you go from using an iPod Touch to an iPhone, one of the more striking differences is how much thicker and heftier the iPhone is. The iPhone 4, however, is about to change that in a big way. The new iPhone is 24% thinner than the iPhone 3GS, and with a depth of just 0.37 inches (9.3 mm), it’s almost as thin as the svelte iPod Touch which measures in at 0.33 inches (8.5 mm).

But what good is explaining the difference when you can see the difference with your own eyes. Below, Apple’s next-gen iPhone sits alongside an iPhone 3GS. Case closed.
