If you’re going to try and make some fast cash by selling knockoffs of Apple products, you might wanna seek refuge in China where the market for counterfeit Apple products is a market all unto itself. Otherwise, if you happen to find yourself in the US, you’ll eventually find yourself on the receiving end of a lawsuit from Apple.

This past Thursday, Apple filed suit against Brilliant Store, Sunvalleytek International, and Hootoo.com alleging that all 3 have been peddling power adapters that closely resemble Apple’s and infringe upon Apple’s patents. The patent cited by Apple goes back to a 2003 design viewable here.

Below is a Apple-esque power adapter currently for sale on USadapter.com, which is operated by Sunvalleytek.
