Finland may be Nokia country through and through, but some people, at the end of the day, just gotta have an iPhone. And to any Finnish folks out there, I come bearing good news.

Teleoperator Elisa recently announced that users in Finland can now purchase the iPhone 4 without having to sign up for a multi-year contract. Previously, users in Finland had to sign up for a contract with TeliaSonera. In any event, the 16 GB model will go on sale this Thursday forĀ 589 euros ($799) and the 32GB model will retail for 689 euros ($934).

Pick a carrier.. any carrier.
