As Professor Farnsworth might say, “Good news everybody!” For those of you who find 30-second song previews on iTunes too short to accurately determine if a track is worth downloading, rejoice. Apple announced yesterday that song previews on iTunes will be extended to 90 seconds for songs that are longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds. All other songs will contain 30 second previews.

Music lovers abroad, however, are out of luck as Apple’s new 90-second music previews seem to be US only for the time being.
