You haven’t been able to rent individual TV episodes from NBC off of iTunes for some time now, but 9to5Mac did some snooping around in iTunes and took the screenshot displayed below. Shown within is the iTunes page for season 5 of The Office, and lo and behold, there is a rental option (inside the redbox) located alongside the purchase buttons.
Maybe it’s just a Photoshop glitch, who knows, but it’d be nice to be able to rent disposable episodes for a cheap buck instead of having to fork over $3 for an episode you might only watch once.
