Delta planning to install charging stations at 19 nationwide airports

As part of Detla’s $2 billion investment to improve their airport facilities and onboard services, the airline announced last week plans to install charging stations at 19 US airports and in all 7 of their domestic hubs.

Users can soon expect to see two Delta re-charging stations at each passenger gate area with each station featuring six standard 110 volt outlets and two USB ports.

The full list of cities pegged for charging stations includes:

Gate area re-charging stations will be installed in the following cities soon: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York-JFK and Salt Lake City as well as Boston, Columbus, OH; Hartford, CT; Indianapolis; Los Angeles; Nashville; Norfolk, VA; Omaha, NE; Pittsburgh, Portland, OR; Seattle and St. Louis.
