Ahead of WWDC, Apple Stores begin receiving Visual Merchandising materials

It’s about that time ya’ll. 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple Stores have begun receiving packages labeled “Visual Merchandising” with the express instructions that they’re not to be opened until Tuesday – when WWDC gets underway.

Oh what, oh what could they be? Something related to iCloud perhaps? Maybe it has something to do with Apple’s rumored back to sales push that might include $200 off an iPad for eligible students? There have also been some rumblings that new AirPort and Time Capsule base stations might be hitting Apple’s retail stores soon.

And so the wait begins.
