I was watching an episode of Lockup: Raw on MSNBC the other day – you know, the show that profiles inmates in prisons across the globe – and they happened to ask one prisoner what he’d do if he could do anything once released. Looking deadpan into the camera, the inmate said, “I’d make Saturday Night Live funny again. It really sucks now.”

And you know, we can’t really disagree. The show is a shell of its former self and finding a funny skit is now an exception to the rule. Still, we thought we’d pass along this clip of SNL un-funny man Seth Meyers (though likeable he may be) taking a shot at Amazon’s upcoming Kindle Fire. The pertinent clip starts at about 48 seconds in – or you can skip ahead to the YouTube clip of the segment below (assuming it hasn’t been taken down yet).

“In an effort to compete with the iPad, Amazon Wednesday unveiled their new tablet computer called the Kindle Fire which will retail for $199. It’s expected to sell well among parents who always buy the wrong thing.”
