As had been previously rumored, Apple today sent out invitations to a special media event set to take place in NYC on Thursday, January 19. The event will take place at the Guggenheim Museum and will include an education-oriented announcement.
Eddy Cue will likely handle the MC duties for the event, which will reportedly include big announcements relating to publishing and eBooks – and in textbooks in particular.
