Microsoft to give Apple a taste of its own medicine

The New York Times has an interesting article about the new direction Microsoft is headed after they decided to axe their somewhat poorly received Seinfeld campaign. Apparently Microsoft will attempt to take back control of the PC character and finally respond to the long-running “Get a mac” ads. I’m not quite sure how you can successfully spoof a character who is a spoof himself, so it will be interesting to see what Microsoft comes up with. One thing’s for sure, though – Microsoft is definitely fighting an uphill battle.
