Apple already filming ads for unreleased Apple product

News, Rumors

Now you can go ahead and classify this as the flimsiest of rumors, but the Sierra Sun is reporting that Apple yesterday filmed an ad for an unreleased product at Jax on the Tracks, a diner with a 1940’s vibe and motif.

… but because the product they were advertising hadn’t been released, members of the group didn’t release any information, or allow any photographs.

Jax owner Bud Haley noted that an Apple location scout chose his diner because “they’re trying to show us as a hip and cool spot for the 20-something crowd.”

So what could this mystery product be?

Realistically, it could be anything from a new iPod Touch and iPod Nano to the new tablet.  While the idea that Apple is already filming ads for their impending tablet is intriguing, it seems unlikely that Apple would actually bring such a device into the wild before allowing Steve Jobs to give it its proper introduction.  The more likely explanation, then, is that the product is a new iPod.

Either way, with Apple already filming commercials for new products at interesting locale’s, things are gonna get really interesting come September.
