New Apple commercials take aim at Verizon’s CDMA network

In conjunction with the release of the Motorola Droid, Verizon launched a full out ad blitz on the iPhone and AT&T’s network.  AT&T even went so far as to sue Verizon and seek an injunction to prevent them from running commercials which they felt painted an inaccurate portrait of AT&T’s network.  AT&T also responded with a commercial of their own, featuring actor Luke Wilson.

And now Apple has entered the fray with 2 new commercials which take subtle shots at Verizons’s CDMA network which is incapable of handling voice and data network connections simultaneously.  The ads below highlight the iPhone’s ability to take a call while at the same time browsing the web for pertinent information.  Check em’ out below.
