Dubbed “Concierge”, Apple will reportedly release new Apple Retail Store app tomorrow

News, Rumors

With the iPhone 4 launch just 10 days away, Apple on Tuesday will reportedly release an iOS retail store application for the iPhone and iPad that will enable users to set up Genius Bar appointments, locate nearby Apple Stores, browse a list of available classes, and even order new products straight from their mobile device. As you might expect, users will reportedly be able to pre-order the upcoming iPhone 4 with the app as well.

Word that Apple was working on its own Apple retail store app stretches all the way back to November, 2009 when reports of a “Concierge” app, similar in function to the aforementioned retail store app, began to surface. And who knows, maybe the app will be named “Concierge” after all.

We’ll keep you posted.
