With the iPad 2 scheduled to launch in early April, Apple has expanded the number of companies tasked with manufacturing the device’s printed circuit boards (PCB) from three to 7 in order to accommodate accelerating demand. Verizon pre-orders for the iPhone 4 begin on Feb. 3 and will be available in stores starting on Feb. 10. With d-day just weeks away, Verizon yesterday unveiled an iPhone 4 ad, all the while, nary an Apple device is seen in the advert.
