I’m somewhat neutral on this. I don’t see the point of having a camera in the iPad, except for a front-facing camera for chats. If Apple doesn’t put a camera in, bloggers, and tech pundits will whine, even while the iPad outsells all of the “me too” products on the market.
i can see where this would be annoying very quickly. you have no idea how much i have seen this going going on as soon as the act comes onstage. just stop already.
While it would be annoying, it won’t be quite as annoying as you portray. Those iPads in that photo are not to scale. Those are 2x larger than iPads really are.
If consumers don’t want a camera I can assure you “the enterprise” does. I know of several medical clinics that will be buying many iPad2s if they come with a rear facing camera.
