Remember those multitouch gestures in iOS 4.3 that prompted speculation that Apple might do away with the home button on the iPad and the iPhone? Well fear not lovers of tactile feedback, Apple has officially informed developers that the new gestures will not be a part of the official iOS 4.3 launch and that they’re merely there now for testing purposes.
“This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers,” Apple explained, “but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps.
