Samsung’s Galaxy Ace Plus is a blatant rip off of the iPhone 3GS

Samsung’s smartphone and tablet strategy, which seemingly consists of copying Apple at every turn, continues to get deeper by the day.

After looking to Apple’s iPad ads for “inspiration”, it was revealed this past weekend that a new Galaxy Tab ad uses the exact same actress who prominently appeared in a recent iPhone 4S ad.

And just yesterday, Samsung officially announced a new Galaxy Ace Plus smarthone meant to appeal to folks looking for an entry-level smartphone. The device will launch in Russia and will subsequently roll out to China, Africa, the Middle East, Southwest Asia, Latin America, and Europe later this year.

But what’s really noteworthy about the Galaxy Ace Plus is that it looks like a blatant rip off of the iPhone 3GS. Hell, Samsung’s depiction of the device was apparently modeled directly off of Apple’s official iPhone 3GS photo.

Say what you will about Apple aggressive legal attack against Android, but it’s hard to deny that Samsung has demonstrated a pattern of blatant and consistent disregard for the intellectual property of other companies, and in this particular case, Apple.

Hell, it’s hard to even be shocked at this point. Just a few weeks ago Samsung unveiled a new MP3 player which, gasp!, looks eerily similar to Apple’s iPod Touch. Simply shameless.
