With nary a peep, Apple recently gave the entry level White MacBook a spec upgrade. The CPU was bumped up to 2.13 GHZ (was previously at 2 GHZ), the DDR2 SDRAM got a 133 MHZ boost, and the hard drive now checks in with 40GB of more space. Not too shabby, all still for $999. via [...]

While weighing in on what he expects to see at this years WWDC, John Gruber over at DaringFireball dropped an interesting tidbit about Apple possibly re-branding its laptops.
